Our Discharge Activator is the activating component for printing with discharge inks in your screen printing processes. This activator agent may be used in combination with our D-White or D-Base and other inks in order for the discharging process to happen.
It is important when using this product that you only mix enough activator with the ink for use within a 12 hour period. We recommend that you add the activator 5% by weight – 1,000g of ink uses 50g of activator.
Available in 250g, 1kg and 5 kg pots or a 50kg drum here at Screen Printing Essentials.
PLEASE BE AWARE DUE TO SIZE AND WEIGHT RESTICTIONS OF THE 50KG DRUM, THERE WILL BE A DELIVERY SURCHARGE AND PALLET DELIVERY IS THE ONLY OPTION AVAILABLE.
- Weigh out and thoroughly mix ink to be used.
- Weigh out the appropriate Activator (5% of the ink weight).
- Add the 2 weighed out componants together and mix thoroughly.
- Leave to stand for 10 minutes.
