Description
The UMX STARTER KIT is available in 1xLitre or 1xUSG sizes.
It contains 17 Colours, plus 1 x US Gallon of UMX Mixing White (2 x US Gallons of Mixing white in larger USG kit).
Total Ink Solutions have invested heavily to produce the most colour accurate and cost efficient solution for any print shop large or small to achieve Pantone shades and custom mixed colours.
Use the UMX formulation tool to mix 1000's of Pantone shades as well as create your own unique formulations.
These inks are designed for 100% cotton substrates, and are not opaque. The UMX colour system inks need to be printed onto an under base for dark substrates, if Bleed resistance is required please use Bleed Resistant ink for under base.
Note: Pre-test on actual substrates before any full production run, for dye bleeding, adhesion, wash fastness and other desired effects.

How to use
RECOMMENDED FABRICS:
Light coloured 100% cotton or cotton/polyester blends. Use an under base for printing dark fabrics.
INK APPLICATION:
Colours should be printed without any modifications. If thinning is required, only use TI curable reducer (1% to 5% by volume).
SCREEN MESH AND EMULSION:
43T to 120T any direct or indirect lacquer resistant emulsion. Use 35 to 70 micron capillary film for best results.
SQUEEGEE:
65-75 Durometer sharp edge 65-90-65 or 75-90-75 triple Durometer.
CURE TEMPERATURE:
165C (325F) entire ink film. Test dryer temperatures and wash test printed product before and during a production run.
CLEAN-UP:
Ink degradant or Press wash.
