Description
WB-SOFTENER is a formaldehyde-free additive designed specifically to reduce the print’s hand (softness) in all water based ink systems.
Add 2-3%, by weight, to your discharge or water-based inks. Up to 5% maximum, by weight, can be added.
The maximum addition level should not be exceeded as this may adversely affect the printed fabrics wash fastness.
WB-SOFTENER also improves the “flow” characteristics of the ink and prevents drying-in /choking in the screen without any adverse effect on flash performance of the ink.
Use with care.
How to use
- Add to your water based ink 2-3% by weight.
- Mix into ink thoroughly and completely.
- Test well prior to production.
- Never add to much Softener as this can affect the wash fastness!
